We're calling for sire nominations for the 2021 mating of the Dairy Beef Progeny Test (DBPT). This project is open to all sires and breeds. The DBPT aims to identify and prove bulls that are easy calving, of short gestation length, have excellent growth rates and superior carcass attributes. Suitable for widespread use in the dairy industry and providing value to all stages of the supply chain. We’re also working with LIC to make superior beef genetics easier for dairy farmers to access. As part of this Progeny Test, breeders will have a potential path to the dairy market through LIC.The deadline for nominations is Friday 30 July.𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐝?
